With private access to the lake at Ripley Castle our superb venue in Harrogate is the perfect place to leave the safety of dry land and try your hand at kayaking and canoeing. Paddleboarding (Open Sessionn)
After some fun introductions and warm ups on the bank, we will be equip you with a paddle, leash, and of course a Paddle Board. It's then onto the water and time for some serious fun! We will start you off paddling in a simple kneeling position, this is a great way for you to become one with your board and paddle! Once mastered, you're then ready to stand up and enjoy the full Paddle Boarding experience! As well as making a journey around our impressive lake, taking in the sights of Ripley Castle, we will challenge you to Paddle Board gymnastics, races, water polo and many more fun games – it's safe to say, keeping dry is not an option.

Paddleboarding (Private Session)
This exciting 3hr experience gives you the chance to take to the water to put your paddle power to the ultimate test. After learning the basics with the help of a fully qualified instructor you'll head out onto the Ripley Castle lake where you'll be given the chance to practice your newly acquired skills. As you glide across the water you'll master a whole host of paddling techniques so by the end of your experience you'll be ready to come back again! Important information: All equipment is provided but please bring a towel and spare clothes.
